Fetcher Dog

Milo

Milo came to Fetcher as an owner surrender when he was not coping in a very busy home. He has come out of his shell at the centre and shown what a sweet, affectionate dog he is. He would suit a calmer home, ideally with a confident resident dog.

Bowie

Bowie and his brother arrived at the pound a week apart as strays, both in a terrible state. He survived parvovirus and was nursed back to health by one of Fetcher's founders. He loves attention, toys and zooming around the field.

George

George came to Fetcher when she ran out of time at the pound. She was reactive at first and has calmed a great deal with patience and routine. She is affectionate and goofy, and needs an adopter ready to keep up her training.

Our commitment

How the money reaches the dogs

In year one, while we expect to be loss-making, Best Friend Club pays Fetcher Dog £500 every month. Our constitution locks in the longer-term commitment: 10% of operating profits goes to dog rescue and, if profits are distributed to shareholders, 50% of those distributed profits goes to dog rescue.

There is no counter ticking on this page. The figures above are typed in by the club once the money has actually gone out.
